Scandalous rapper Kanye West (46) once aimed to become one of the biggest real estate developers. But nothing will come of it as most construction projects have now turned into piles of rubble.
Kim Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend Kanye West, 43, now wants to sell one of his destroyed villas. This is her beach house in Malibu. But selling the once magnificent villa will likely be very difficult as West vacates the property completely. With the support of famous architect Tadao Ando (82), he decided on a comprehensive redesign of the house.
But West’s approach caused major problems: The fashion designer himself removed pipes, wiring and air conditioning systems, causing serious damage to the building, project manager Tony Saxon told “TMZ.” His goal was to create a house with no windows and no electricity.
He bought the three-story mansion a few years ago for $53 million. The house is currently for sale with real estate company Oppenheim Group for 47 million. Less than what the West was paying at the time. According to the information on the Oppenheim Group website, the villa has four bedrooms and five bathrooms. The total area covers 373.5 square meters, with the terrace covering an additional 139 square meters. The best thing about property? You can see the ocean from every room.
Things are no better for church property in Northridge, an area of Los Angeles. In March of this year, West purchased the property of Cornerstone Christian Church for $1.5 million with the intention of moving the Donda Academy school there.
But their plans were quickly foiled by the local community. Images obtained by the Daily Mail show that the building is in a dilapidated state, with shopping carts and broken furniture scattered throughout the area. The interior of the property remains a secret as it is completely boarded up.
West’s farm, located in the city of Calabasas in the southwestern part of California’s San Fernando Valley, also appears abandoned. The rapper’s “Donda Academy” school was formerly located on the site. It looks like some supplies from this facility were left behind. Otherwise you’ll find only garbage and a stranded dune buggy on the property.
Kanye West, whose real name is Ye, bought a large ranch in Wyoming a few years ago with the aim of building the most unusual structures possible. He paid $14 million for it. He failed to carry out this plan either: The farm, once surrounded by cars and construction materials, now looks abandoned.
Aerial photos taken this month show the buildings still standing but covered in a thick blanket of snow, despite West’s decision to use a hardened surface. There are no signs of life for miles. Gray domes are truly a standout in the breathtaking Wyoming landscape.
Two months after American entrepreneur Kim Kardashian filed for divorce and officially became the owner of her marital home in the small town of Hidden Hills, the music producer bought a single-story house just across the street.
He wanted the five-bedroom, four-bathroom property so badly that he paid $421,000 more than the seller was asking. He paid $4.5 million for it. It also appears to be abandoned now as no renovation work has been done yet. (knh)
