7. Close doors, windows and skylights to protect your home from stray people.
8. If possible, keep your car safe in the garage or parked somewhere away from the noise of the festival.
9. But even those who do everything right can get hurt; because someone else is less intelligent and thoughtful. So to protect yourself: Pay attention to what others are doing.
10. Buses, dogs and other (pet) animals don’t enjoy fireworks as much as their owners. Therefore, it provides four-legged friends with access to a quiet area where they can feel safe. Draw the curtains there or lower the blinds.
