Most used passwords in 2023

In the digital world, password security is a fundamental part of protecting the personal information you have on your computer, email or mobile devices.

However, Nordpass’ report on the most used passwords for 2023 shows that, despite increasing awareness, users still stick to weak and predictable passwords.

Password “123456” sound familiar? Unfortunately, it still tops the list of most used globally in 2023 and highlights urgent need raise awareness of security practices more robust.

In the 2023 edition, the Nordpass report analyzed a huge database collected in collaboration with independent researchers from 35 countries, specializing in incidents cyber security.
