Almost everyone has made one or more of the following common mistakes when preparing meals. Most of the time these are little things that can be easily avoided once you know what to look out for.

While some of the mistakes are only related to taste, unfortunately there are also mistakes that reduce the absorption of vitamins and nutrients and even make them unhealthy. Here’s how eating the following foods can become a healthy and aromatic pleasure again.

How can you make mistakes when eating yoghurt? In fact, there is something like this: Liquid whey, which can be separated when yoghurt stops, is found disturbing by many people and is poured immediately. It contains minerals, calcium and proteins and is healthy. Therefore, it is better to simply stir this liquid before consuming. Yogurt contributes to a balanced diet.

Heat cold pressed oils

Cold-pressed oils, such as olive oil, are a delicious addition to salads or other dishes that do not require heating. Since these types of oils, which contain unsaturated fatty acids, are not heat resistant, they should not be used for cooking, frying, baking or deep-frying purposes. Otherwise, its healthy ingredients become unusable for the body and high temperatures may produce harmful compounds. Refined oils or coconut oil, which remain heat resistant up to about 200 degrees thanks to their saturated fatty acids, are more suitable for hot dishes.

Nibble pure carrots

Everyone knows that carrots are healthy. They contain a lot of vitamins and are delicious even raw. Vitamin A, which is important for humans and can only be absorbed through food, is also found in vegetables and is fat-soluble; Therefore, the body needs some fat to use it. You can mix this wonderfully into the sauce and enjoy it with carrots.

Using herbs and spices too early

They refine each dish and can be dosed and combined to suit your own taste: spices and fresh herbs such as basil, rosemary, paprika or saffron. But they are often added to the dish too early during cooking, causing flavor to be lost or to become bitter. In most recipes, it’s better to season to taste so you can enjoy the full flavor.

Mistakes made while cooking pasta

Vegetables are very popular as a side dish or main course because they are delicious, add variety to the table, and are also healthy. Even though you prepare vegetables almost every day, you still make mistakes that destroy the vitamins they contain: cooking or frying them for too long. For your health, it is only worth steaming all types of vegetables that you can safely consume raw.

Other varieties, such as beans, potatoes, cassava or eggplant, need to be heated for longer before consumption, otherwise they can be unhealthy or even poisonous. If in doubt, you should find out which vegetables are suitable for steaming before cooking.
