According to a new report, more CO2 will be emitted in 2023 than ever before. (symbol image)

According to experts writing in the report on the global carbon budget, this is 1.1 percent more than in 2022 and 1.4 percent more than in 2019 before Corona.

“The effects of climate change are evident everywhere, but actions to reduce carbon emissions from fossil fuels remain painfully slow,” said study leader Pierre Friedlingstein of the University of Exeter (UK), according to a statement.

More than 120 experts participated in the report published Tuesday in the journal “Earth System Science Data.”

The average greenhouse gas carbon dioxide (CO2) rate in the air will be 419.3 ppm (parts per million) in 2023; This is 51 percent higher than in 1750.
