Miss Panama Inc resigns from Miss Universe; exposes privileges

The Miss Panama Inc organization announced this Sunday its exit from the franchise Miss Universe.

According to the organization, they do not have the time needed to obtain approval for the franchise rights at the right time, which has prevented them from attracting the sponsors needed to cover the high costs associated with production and preparation of representatives.

The company emphasizes that it cannot engage in situations that contradict its principles.

“We want to compete equally with other countries and demand that information be transparent for everyone,” the press release said.

In this sense, they point out that they were faced with situations in which the public was aware of the guidelines and changes before the organization itself.

“We understand the media nature of choosing the winner from among more than 80 women, but the situation is complicated when, during the concentration, privileges are given to directors and work teams, without us as an organization knowing,” they explain.

The organization makes sure to leave with their heads held high and their duties fulfilled by thanking each of the sponsors.

“We are closing this chapter with a heart full of gratitude and satisfaction having fulfilled his duty”, they add.

It turned out that Natasha Vargas, the current Miss Panama Universe, fulfilled all her obligations. The lady thanked the organization for its efforts.

“I couldn’t have had a better team. For my part, my commitment to the whole country will continue, not just for one year, but forever,” he stressed.

How much could a Panamanian Miss Universe license cost? According to the newspaper DíaaDía, the figure is approx 30,000 dollarsbut it depends, because this year there was an auction, who offered the highest.
