The fifth Inclusive gala will be held today, December 2

Including the fifth Gala comes with a work called “I want you to know that I love you”. The event that will take place today, Saturday, December 2nd.

This gala party aims to promote cultural rights person with disability.

“This year the show comes in a different format, that is theater work written by a person with disabilities and has an excellent cast that, in addition to acting, will present various artistic disciplines within the play,” said Jorge Morales, National Director of Equal Opportunities at MiCultura.

They will participate 60 artists on stage, 40 of whom have some kind of disability.

“Our main goal is to recognize artistic achievements and cultural interests of people with disabilities and thus be able to empower them professionally in order to facilitate their inclusion in productive cultural life”, he added.

This event It also encourages inclusion persons with disabilities under equal conditions.

The cast will consist of artists, dancers and musicians such as: Luis Mario Moore, Diana Sofia Hernández, Jashymir Bedoya, Isaac Fiatt, Haydeé Gabriela Rodríguez, Juan Rodríguez, Jembell Chifundo and Jaime Newball.

As in previous years, the gala will be diverse artistic performances such as dancemusic and poetry in which children and youth from the Special Education Program of the Network of Youth Orchestras and Choirs of Panama and Rasheda Dance Academy will participate, among others.

This activity has been organized by the association since 2019 National Authority for Equal Opportunities Ministry of Culture (MiCultura), on the occasion of celebrating the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, on December 3 next year.
