“Sex and the City” star Cynthia Nixon joined a group of people who began a five-day hunger strike outside the White House on Tuesday to force Joe Biden to intervene in the armed conflict between Israel and Hamas.
“We’re here on hunger strike just to show Biden the kind of deprivation that’s going on in Gaza and how it’s within his power to get a ceasefire,” Nixon told the media.
Nixon has three children, two of whom are Jewish, the fruit of his life marriage with Danny Mozes, therefore, he wants death innocent people.
“I am the mother of Jewish children, whose grandparents survived The Holocaustand my son asked me to demand with my voice that ‘never again’ means ‘never again’ for everyone”, he explained the reasons why he joined the strike.
He then added: “In seven weeks, Israel has killed more civilians on a small piece of land than in 20 years of war.” Afghanistan“.
The star of the HBO series admitted that she is tired of being told that she is “the civilian victims They are a routine toll from war“, because for her there is nothing routine in these numbers or in these deaths.

In another video, Nixon is seen reading a text in memory of people killed in the conflict and, finally, there is a video, she appears sitting on the floor while listening to Zohran Kwame, a representative from New York.
