The previous four episodes of the sixth season of “The Crown” came to an extremely emotional end with the accidental death of Princess Diana (Elizabeth Debicki). However, the end of the series has not yet been reached, at least not quite yet. Season 6 will include six more episodes, which will be released on Netflix on December 14, 2023, finally concluding the hit royal series.

The final episodes of “The Crown” will make a small jump in time, and are expected to begin in 2005 with the wedding of Prince Charles (Dominic West) and Camilla Parker Bowles (Olivia Williams) to end. As a result, there will be another recast among the younger members of the royal ensemble of characters: newcomers Ed McVey and Luther Ford will follow in the footsteps of Rufus Kampa and Fflyn Edwards as Prince William and Prince Harry.
