After the Hollywood attacks end, filming for “Deadpool 3” can get back up to speed – and so leads Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman will also need to get back into shape to pull off plenty of badass action scenes and stunts as the loud-mouthed mercenary and knife-wielding Wolverine to be able to turn.
The two actors shared some snippets from their rigorous training program for the superhero sequel and showed the fans their muscles of steel. Ryan Reynolds also took the opportunity to thank his trainer Don Saladino, who has been helping him maintain the right balance during training since the beginning of the “Deadpool” series:
“As I prepare to push myself back into Deadpool’s big red body condom, I need to shed some light on Don Saladino. My body is pretty broken from years of stunt work and putting myself through more challenges than my bones and ligaments can handle. Sometimes I go too far. I mean, I always go too far. Restraint has never been my friend. But luckily it’s Don!”
We also see Hugh Jackman training again for “Deadpool 3”. watch. With the caption “LFG #becomingwolverineagain,” the Wolverine actor posted a video of himself visibly deadlifting heavy weights to AC/DC’s rock anthem “Thunderstruck,” leaving the Marvel star out of breath after just a few reps.
The two actors had already shared their workouts for ‘Deadpool 3′ on the social media platform in February this year and encouraged each other. However, due to the writers’ and actors’ strikes in Hollywood, filming for the action sequel had to be interrupted for several months.
After the strikes ended, Disney and Marvel announced a few weeks ago that “Deadpool 3” could no longer meet its planned May 2024 start date. Instead, the MCU film will now hit German cinemas on July 26, 2024.
