SOS Children’s Villages Panama is launching a Christmas campaign

SOS Children’s Villages Panama launched their Christmas fund-raising campaign under the motto: “This Christmas is sharing”, with which they appeal to the generosity of the population with the aim that the boys, girls, adolescents and young people who participate in their programs, experience the joy of Christmas and the warmth of enjoying and sharing with families.

“We are aware of the reality that the country is going through at the moment, however, that same reality forces us to look for alternatives to raise funds in order to maintain our programs in order to provide the quality care that characterizes us and what better time than Christmas, where the joy, affection and generosity of the Panamanian” said Domingo Barrios, president of the Board of Directors of SOS Children’s Villages Panama.

Among the main activities fundraising Highlights: Sale of Christmas items, greeting cards, sponsor dinner, activation with Christmas elves and collection of decorations and lights.

In addition, on December 14 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., there will be a procession and lighting of the tree. Christmas.

Funds raised through this campaign will provide Christmas dinner, decorations, clothes and gifts for more than 200 girls, boys, adolescents, youth, caregivers and 90 families participating in their programs, they reported in a press release.
