Spilled wine stains on the table or tablecloth are now a thing of the past. A small, nearly weightless disk just under eight centimeters in diameter has taken the wine world by storm because it solves exactly this problem.
A clever Dane named Brian Vang Jensen was tired of cleaning up spilled wine stains. He quickly invented the Drop Stop, which has since been sold millions of times and won the hearts of wine lovers all over the world.
Using the drip stopper is easy: You roll up the small disc of flexible, food-safe wine foil and insert it into the opened wine bottle. Now you can spill your wine without worry and you no longer need to have a kitchen towel ready to catch or wipe up drips.
Drop Stop can be easily cleaned under running water. It is not necessary and not recommended to put it in the dishwasher. Drop stops are available from specialist retailers for just two to three francs each and can be reused indefinitely.
