It was a long back-and-forth, fear and hope among the Swedish people, followed by great disappointment for Princess Madeleine (41), her husband Chris O’Neill (49) and their three children, Princess Leonore (9), Prince Nicolas (41). 7) and Princess Adrienne (6) announced that they would not return to their hometown in the summer months of 2023. The delay in moving was apparently due to Madeleine and Chris underestimating the effort the move would require. “The family’s time was a little too short, with everything a move entails,” a spokesperson for the princess said after the failed return. On the one hand, it would not be easy to meet the high demands for the new apartment in Sweden, and on the other hand, organizing the children’s re-education would delay everything.

It will happen, even if some people no longer believe in moving to Sweden, as Margareta Thorgen, head of the royal information department, told the Swedish news portal “Expressen”: “My understanding is that this transfer will be postponed until 2024.” This is also supported by the fact that Princess Madeleine and Chris O’Neill’s house has long been advertised for sale on the US real estate portal Zillow.com.

Does selling a house cause a family crisis?

The property, with full address 6330 SW 107th St, Pinecrest, FL 33156, has been on the market since March 3, 2023. Princess Madeleine had originally asked $7.65 million for the house, but after just one month they were forced to reduce the price by 2.6 percent to $7.45 million. However, because no buyer could be found, the price dropped again by 2.1 percent on November 2, 2023. For many, these reductions are an indication that Princess Madeleine and Chris O’Neill are under pressure. “The two of them look pretty desperate,” says Johan T. Lindwall, editor-in-chief of the Swedish newspaper “Svensk Damtidning.” The journalist goes further and creates a small fight in the family. “I assume Madeleine misread Chris. In the sense of: ‘We’re moving to Sweden now, whatever it takes!'”

Before a marital crisis occurs between Princess Madeleine and Chris O’Neill, interested and wealthy individuals can apply for a home here and quickly enjoy the benefits of seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a pool, employee apartments and three parking spaces. You can also get more into Princess Madeleine and Chris O’Neill’s marriage with a purchase.
