This week, singer and composer Ricardo Montaner announced that he will be taking a break from his activities on stage, after more than 30 years of continuous music.

– The first song you composed was around 1973. It was called “Spring nights“, and was inspired by his first girlfriend, Ana Vaz Pönicke. They married in 1975 and had two children, Alejandro Manuel and Héctor Eduardo. They divorced in 1986, when Ricardo was already focused on his career, which imposed his schedules and routine, which did not adapt to the family rhythm.
