He insisted that the cars could fly – which would have made no sense within the MCU. “There are no flying cars in the Marvel Universe,” Kevin Feige also made it clear – quickly putting an end to Jackson’s idea. However, according to the book, the comic giant previously commissioned the company Pre-Viz, which works closely with Marvel, to visualize the scene as Jackson wanted – this way, in a major blockbuster production, it is possible to test whether certain visual elements concepts work before they are actually put into practice at high costs. In the case of the flying car chase scene, however, the answer was clearly “no” – and so the “Pulp Fiction” star ultimately had to settle for regular cars on four wheels…
