Christopher McQuarrie on board for “Sicario 3”?

This is the first time that Christopher McQuarrie has been announced as having any connection to Sicario 3. In what capacity is not clear at this time. The director of “Mission: Impossible: Dead Reckoning – Part 1” would be an excellent choice to be responsible for the production and script for the third part. Of course, McQuarrie is currently busy with ‘Mission: Impossible 8’.
Even if it is still unclear who is responsible for writing and directing “Sicario 3,” this could also be the case Taylor Sheridan takes over these positions.
