Til Schweiger, a terminally ill man, cares for his perfectly healthy friend: first trailer for “The Best is Yet to Come!”

The glory days of ‘rabbits without ears’ and ‘honey in the head’ are a thing of the past. In fact, Til Schweiger has occasionally had huge flops in recent years. With “Manta Manta – Second Part”, the German superstar managed to make the box office ring again this year – and even beat the first part from 1991 at the box office.

If “The best has yet to come!“, the new film by and starring Til Schweiger, will also attract an audience of millions, as we will notice from December 7, when the tragicomedy premieres in German cinemas. The first trailer that has now been released makes it clear that Schweiger once again relies on the success principle for which he is known: a very emotional story is being prepared with a lot of situational comedy.

This is “The best is yet to come!”

“The Best is Yet to Come!” is a remake of the French film “The Best is Yet to Come – La meilleur reste à venir” by Alexandre De La Patellièe and Matthieu Delaporte. At the center of the action are Arthur (Michael Maertens) and Felix (Til Schweiger), two best friends who couldn’t be more different from each other. While one is a pedantic bourgeois, the other lives on the fast track and enjoys every day as if it were his last.
