After the ‘Fast & Furious’ series started as a loose reboot of Kathryn Bigelow’s ‘Dangerous Surf’, Vin Diesel would gradually ensure that the action franchise became an absolute bombast spectacle. Not only was a lot of money spent on large (often digital) material battles, but many stars were also brought in front of the camera.
