HP Baxxter is engaged to his girlfriend, who is 37 years younger than him

He has been a celebrated techno star for decades and she has just started studying real estate. Despite different living circumstances and a 37-year age difference, HP Baxxter and Sara Bakhsh “immediately hit it off,” the musician said in May, making his new relationship public.

Six months later, Scooter’s frontman, whose real name is Hans Peter Geerdes, has done it: HP Baxxter has asked for his girlfriend’s hand in marriage.

“We got engaged on holiday,” the 59-year-old now reveals in “Bunte”. After a concert with his band in Edinburgh, the couple went to the Scottish Highlands. A perfect backdrop for the proposal he had already planned before he left. «I had already bought the ring in Hamburg and carried it in my pocket all the time. I wanted it to fit and not stage anything,” says HP Baxxter, even revealing details: “There, in Fort William, on a lake in the middle of nowhere, it was just the two of us. The moment was perfect.”

Even though they have only known each other for a few months, the musician is sure that Sara is the right one. “We tap in the same way, we are completely on the same wavelength. There are never any problems, she is so relaxed. “Everything is different with her,” he says enthusiastically. It is the Scooter frontman’s third marriage – “and the last”, as he emphasizes.

The couple is already making plans for the big day: the wedding will take place on Sylt next summer. “The atmosphere is special, regardless of the weather. And Sara and I love the island,” said the “Hyper Hyper” interpreter.
