As a “The Walking Dead” fan you have to be patient in this country. The spin-off ‘Daryl Dixon’ premiered in the United States in September this year. A trailer for the second season was recently released, confirming that Melissa McBride would be joining the cast as Carol. The zombie offshoot hasn’t been released in Germany yet.
However, the wait will soon be over, because the German start date of “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon” has finally been published: the series will start exclusively on MagentaTV on December 8, 2023 and at no extra cost. This means that in less than two months, fans of “The Walking Dead” will also be able to enjoy the next chapter of the zombie saga.

In the spin-off, the title character, still played by Norman Reedus, travels from the United States to faraway France. Here he is confronted with the origins of the undead pandemic, as hinted in a post-credits scene of the previous spin-off ‘The Walking Dead: World Beyond’. In December we will discover in this country how Daryl suddenly ended up on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean.
Not only does he expect picturesque landscapes you’re not used to from ‘The Walking Dead’, but also from other survivors (including ‘Harry Potter’ star Clémence Poésy.)
