With “The Haunting of Hill House,” “The Haunting of Bly Manor,” “Midnight Mass” and “Goosebumps at Midnight,” Mike Flanagan (“Oculus”) has played a key role in expanding Netflix’s catalog of horror series has been expanding again in recent years with high-quality contributions. Flanagan is also currently working on another Stephen King film adaptation, starring Tom Hiddleston and Mark Hamill:
So it is almost certain that ‘The Fall of the House of Usher’ will not get a second season. Although you can never say never. If the horror series really becomes an immense success for the streaming service, there is of course still the possibility that the story will be expanded – perhaps in the form of prequels or spin-offs. In any case, Edgar Allan Poe’s rich source of horror offers sufficient inspiration to come up with new ideas that can be associated with ‘The Fall of the House of Usher’.
