Ticino prevailed against destinations in southern Finland, India and Indonesia. On Thursday evening, Sonnenstube was awarded the 2023 “Travel Book Award”. Ticino is the best region in the world for a wellness holiday. Although Ticino is not the cradle of a wellness culture like India with its yoga and Ayurveda or Southern Finland with its sauna culture, it impressed the nine-person jury primarily with its diversity, hygiene standards and sustainability.
