It came as a shock to fans when it was announced in early September that Joe Jonas had filed for divorce from Sophie Turner. The two have been considered a dream couple since 2016 and their second daughter was born just last summer. But the love of the actress and the singer ended in a bitter war of the roses. A few weeks ago, the 27-year-old filed a lawsuit against her ex.

Now tensions between the two stars are said to have eased somewhat. In early October, the ex-couple’s lawyers announced that Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas had agreed to several days of mediation. Custody issues need to be clarified and a parenting plan drawn up for the two daughters.

This is now over – with a positive outcome. As the American portal “Page Six” reports, citing court documents, the two are close to an “amicable agreement on all issues between them.” They are said to have already agreed on a temporary custody agreement for their daughters, three-year-old Willa and baby Delphine.

Accordingly, the children must remain with Sophie Turner until October 21, who can travel with them around the United States or Great Britain during this period at her discretion. Afterwards, Joe Jonas will spend almost two weeks with his daughters. The ex-couple share custody until January 7, 2024, so the children can spend Thanksgiving with their father and Christmas with their mother.

The main point of contention was the whereabouts of the girls. Before the divorce, Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas wanted to move with them from the US to Britain, home of the ‘Game of Thrones’ actress. However, the singer now lives in America and did not want to let the children leave the country. His ex then sued him for releasing her daughters’ passports.
