Participants arrive at the National Academy of Public Speaking

There is a little more than a month left until the 2023 National Public Speaking Competition, it will be in November.

The 15 young people who will compete for this award have already started their preparations in National Academy of Public Speaking give your all at the annual event of educational excellence.

On November 12, the final will be held in which the participants will speak on the topic “Energy transition in Panama: an opportunity for sustainability, democratization and economic development of the country”.

It consists of professors and experts from different careers National Academy of Public Speaking strives to contribute to the development, progress and knowledge of both the 15 finalists and the professor advisor.

With them, the theoretical and practical contents that enable the development of ideas and thoughts will be strengthened in the version 18 of the National Oratorical Competition where the educational excellence of Panama is elevated, recognized and rewarded.

Intensive preparations in National Academy of Public Speaking It will last 35 days in which they will strengthen their knowledge with specialized public speaking techniques, practical workshops and master talks on various topics such as language use, grammar, writing, research, structure, critical thinking, text analysis, projection technique and scenario management, as well as courses on economics, finance, energy saving, culture, relevant topics affecting society and young people, seminars on protocol and etiquette, integration, technology, voice, teamwork and communication tools, among other disciplines.

Including an educational learning model, National Academy of Public Speaking It represents a global space for solving problems and expanding the leadership perspectives of young people.

The Academy seeks to train and strengthen the national finalists and their faculty advisors to perform well in the grand finals of the competition and become leaders of their communities, while learning about topics that add value to the development of their environment and to excel as exemplary citizens in the service of Panama.

It is also an instrument that in the future equips them for the development of skills in the environments that surround them, seeking training in leadership, team management, and collective leadership of its participants.

The grand finale will be covered by national radio, TV and the Internet. In addition, it will have an international broadcast on the channel NTN24 and the screen is integrated RTV-PLAY+ reaching more than 56 million viewers in the United States, Canada, Europe and throughout Latin America.
