Full-fledged 3D sound has never been so affordable: this Denon receiver offers incredible value for money

If you value 3D sound in your home theater, this is it Denon AVC-X3800H precisely. The top receiver offers both Dolby Atmos and Auro 3D support and is not only suitable for streaming, but also for ambitious gamers.

Cyberport is currently offering a huge discount and is offering the Denon X3800H for just one price in its cyber sale 829 euros including shipping costs bee. The receiver has never been so affordable. However, the offer is only valid until nine o’clock tomorrow morning.

Danger: The discount will only be calculated in your shopping cart. The “old” price of 988 euros is still on the product page.

Denon X3800H: The perfect receiver for 3D sound

The highlight of the Denon X3800H is its excellent 3D sound features. All major sound formats are supported. Of course also Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. As an added bonus, the recipient can change the format Aurora 3D process. Otherwise, only receivers that cost well over 1,000 euros can do this.

The X3800H also has no shortage of ports. Six HDMI inputs and three HDMI outputs offer ample options. Support all HDMI connections 4K at 120Hz and 8K at 60 Hz. The receiver even upscales content to 4K. There are also eleven speaker and four (!) subwoofer connections. This means a maximum 11.4 setup is possible – perfect for immersive 3D sound.

You don’t have to make any compromises with the HDR formats either. HDR10+ is supported, as well as Dolby Vision. Gamers should be familiar with various fast-paced gaming technologies, such as: VRR and ALLM To be happy. You can also integrate the receiver into the HEOS multi-room system and enjoy the best sound wirelessly in different rooms.

To get the most out of your sound system, the X3800H features a automatic room measurement, which works very well thanks to the included microphone. Music, audiobooks and podcasts can be streamed via WLAN, LAN or Bluetooth.

If you’re looking for a fly in the ointment, you might be annoyed by the lack of an HDMI port on the front of the X3800H. This makes it difficult to quickly connect a laptop. An analog video input is also missing. The third point of criticism in many tests – the high price – is unnecessary with Cyberport’s current offering.

Denon S760H: the alternative without Auro-3D

If the home theater system is a bit smaller, it’s worth taking a look Denon S760H for currently 444 euros including shipping at Cyberport.

The AV receiver offers similar functions such as the X3800H. However, the S760H lacks Auro 3D support. In addition, “only” a 7.2 configuration is possible and “only” three of the six HDMI inputs support 120 Hz. There is “only” one HDMI output and the performance of the S760H is slightly lower than that of the X3800H. Still, you get an excellent receiver that is more than sufficient for many home theaters.
