After moving to Cavendish College, ‘Sex Education’ protagonist Otis (Asa Butterfield) actually wants to support his sexologist classmates with advice at his new training center. The problem is that Cavendish already has a teen sex therapist, the hardened O (whose real name is Sarah Owen). A fierce competition begins.
O is played by 26-year-old Thaddea Graham, who was abandoned as a baby in her native China and raised in Northern Ireland after being adopted before eventually pursuing an acting career in Britain. Graham has worked almost exclusively in the series sector until now, but despite her young age she already has a few projects on her CV.
After her debut in a few episodes of the British sci-fi children’s series “The Sparticle Mystery”, she appeared in the series “Curfew”, “Us”, “Redemption” and “Wreck”, each with the main cast. She also had a recurring role in four episodes of the 13th season of the cult series “Doctor Who”.
An old Netflix acquaintance
Internationally, however, Graham is best known for her central roles in two extensive series productions that she made for streaming provider Netflix before ‘Sex Education’: So she initially had fantasy adventures “The letter for the king“ has a larger supporting role as the warrior Iona. However, both projects had no future.
