Panama Series Festival reached strategic agreements

Panama Series Festival and Duzem Films, its production company, have achieved important strategic alliances during their participation in Ace Fair 2023, one of the most important digital content events in Asia.

As part of the celebration of the fair, in Seoul (South Korea), Henry Ábrego, the creator of the Panama Series Festival, signed a memorandum of understanding with K-Shorts, one of the most famous short film festivals in the Asian region.

Through memorandum mutual cooperation between festivalsfor those content Panamanians have room inside Korea and vice versa.

“(…) This will be a very interesting exchange, as both parties (festivals) will work together to improve and develop Projects that can encourage young people, in this case young Panamanians, to participate in international festivals,” explained Ábrego.

We hope that creative people will be motivated to participate in local festival and then in Korea. Furthermore, with this strategic alliance, new projects can be developed, their sale and sales distribution.

Ábrego pointed out that participation in the festival was very fruitful, in addition to strategic alliances, he visited television studios, series and movies in Korea, which has contracts with companies such as Netflix, Amazon and HBO.
