They remember the first anniversary of Elizabeth II’s death

The British kings, Carlos III and Camila, remember this Friday in private the first anniversary of the death of Elizabeth II. and attended a religious service in the chapel of Crathie Kirk, near Balmoral Castle (in the north-east of Scotland), where the queen died at the age of 96.

W & C”, wrote the heirs to the throne, which they accompanied with a photo of the former ruler surrounded by her grandsons Jorge, Carlota and Luis, the three princes, the sons of Guillermo and Catalina.

In a recorded message, Carlos III paid tribute to his mother’s “long life, devoted service and all that it meant.”

“As we mark the first anniversary of Her late Majesty’s death and my accession (to the throne), we remember with great affection her long life, her devoted service and all that she meant to so many of us,” the king said.

In addition, he was “deeply grateful for the love and support shown to my wife (Camila) and me this year as we do our best to serve you all.”
