Colombian singer Shakira became the top winner of the twentieth edition of Premios Juventud in Puerto Rico with eight awards, followed by Karol G and Featherweight, both with five.
“This island that I adore and meeting all of you and receiving all this, I really thank you,” said the artist, dressed in a red dress and heels in front of a packed Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan.
Shakira also sent thank you message to all his followers, emphasizing that they are his “greatest happiness”.
During a gala event on the Univision network, Shakira won Best Pop/Urban Song (for “Shakira: BZRP Music Sessions #53”), Premios Juventud Femenina Artist, Best Song For My Ex (“TQG”), Girl Power (“TQG”), Best Urban Song (“TQG”), Best Urban Pop Collaboration, Tropical Mix and Social Dance Challenge.
He also received recognition “Agent of Change” for his extensive work on transformation community 23 years through her Fundación Pies Descalzos, an award also won by the Cuban-American singer Camila Cabello.

Featherweight won the categories Premios Juventud Masculino Artist, New Regional Mexican Generation, Best Regional Mexican Song, Best Regional Mexican Collaboration and Best Regional Mexican Album.
The others successful people of the evening were Bad Bunny, Bizarrap and Rosalía who won four awards each.
