Metabolism, also known as metabolism, refers to the biochemical conversion of substances in the body, for example, food metabolism. A healthy lifestyle is a prerequisite for the functioning of metabolism. You should drink plenty of still water, get enough sleep and exercise. A balanced diet is also important.

How active a person’s metabolism is depends on gender, age, health status and diet. The higher it is, the easier it is to lose weight in normal situations. If you want to consciously revive your metabolism, you should integrate the following eleven nutrients into your diet.

one

lemons

Lemons contain a large amount of vitamin C, which ensures the release of the hormones norepinephrine and serotonin during digestion. These, in turn, promote the breakdown of fatty acids in adipose tissue and thus aid in weight loss. For example, drinking a glass of water with lemon in the morning makes your metabolism work.

2

Ginger

Ginger is not considered a superfood for nothing. It improves digestion, aids in detoxification and also inhibits cravings. The sharp-smelling substances in the root increase the temperature in the body and stimulate the metabolism.

3

Chili pepper

Similar to ginger, the spiciness of cayenne pepper also has a beneficial effect on metabolism. Capsaicin contained in them, which is responsible for the sharp taste, stimulates the formation of saliva and gastric juice and can increase the working temperature of the body by a quarter. This promotes blood circulation and speeds up metabolism.

4

spinach

With its high fiber, zinc and vitamin C content, spinach supports both digestion and general metabolism. Whether as a smoothie or with a main course, eating this nutrient-rich vegetable is good for your body.

5

Coffee

Many enjoy coffee every day and will likely be happy as it is good for metabolism. However, this only applies if you drink the hot beverage without sugar or milk. It is best to drink two cups of black coffee or espresso a day to speed up the metabolism. This is because of the caffeine and vitamin B3 that coffee contains.

6

oily fish

In fact, oily fish such as salmon, mackerel or anchovies also provide an active metabolism. This is because of the healthy omega-3 fatty acids in this fish meat. It should be on the menu once or twice a week.

7

Almond

Almonds contain many nutrients, and magnesium, manganese and copper minerals help speed up metabolism. They also reduce appetite with polyunsaturated fatty acids. Almonds also benefit digestion as they support the natural intestinal flora.

8.

cinnamon

Sweet and savory dishes and drinks can be refined with cinnamon. But spice is not just something that stands out in terms of taste: it raises body temperature and thus improves blood circulation and metabolism. In addition, cinnamon increases the effect of insulin, which is important for sugar, fat and protein balance.

9

Green tea

Teas are beneficial for metabolism as they usually take up a lot of fluid. Green tea is particularly effective. Its leaves contain catechins, or bitter substances, which, on the one hand, minimize the feeling of hunger, on the other hand, increase body temperature and convert food energy directly into heat energy. This way you burn calories faster. It also has a blood sugar lowering effect. The caffeine contained in green tea supports fat burning and if you drink it without sugar, it supports digestion after fatty foods.

10

Grapefruit

Grapefruit is best consumed in the morning or after meals during the day, but not in the evening, as they speed up the metabolism. Due to their high potassium content, they support the work of the liver and help the body detox. Citrus fruits contain large amounts of vitamin C. Like lemons, this causes the release of hormones that are important for fat loss. The indigestible fibers in grapefruit accelerate digestion and, together with bitter substances, provide a long-lasting feeling of satiety.

11th

coconut oil

Coconut oil is also considered a metabolism-boosting food. It is high in saturated fat, which keeps you full for longer. Vegetable oil is said to speed up the metabolism for up to 24 hours and increase the body’s fat burning by two to three times. About one tablespoon a day is healthy.
