Former Puerto Rican Miss Universe Dayanara Torres and Brazilian actor and model Marcus Ornellas will make their debut as moderators at Premios Juventud.
The 20th edition of these awards will be held on July 20 at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico.
Thus, Torres, former Miss Universe 1993, and Ornellas will join Angela Aguilar and Alejandra Espinoza as the official conductors of the awards ceremony, reported this Monday on the production of the event.
During her career, Torres worked as a businesswoman, writer and spokesman for various social causes and has participated in various television projects, in Spanish and English, including the soap opera “The Young and the Restless” and the recent “Mira Quién Baila” competition, among others.
Ornellas, for his part, is the protagonist of “Eternamente Amándonos” – the Spanish adaptation of the Turkish series “Yeni Gelin” – and is also one of the nominees for the 2023 Youth Awards in the “My Favorite Actor” category.
The ceremony will be preceded by a dynamic carpet and prelude program “Night of the Stars”, led by Borja Voces, Danilo Carrera, Ela Velden, Migbelis Castellanos, Roberto Hernández, José Figueroa and Yayis Villareal.
Bad Bunny, Becky G, Maluma, Rauw Alejandro, Rosalía, Shakira, Grupo Frontera, Featherweight and TINI lead the 2023 Youth Awards with nine nominations.
