Jaime Newball stars in a film recommended by Mel Gibson

Would you go see a tape that Mel Gibson recommended you watch? This is the case with “The Sound of Freedom”, the actor of films such as “Corazón” and “Lethal Weapon”, suggested moviegoers to watch the film directed by Mexican director Alejandro Monteverde and produced by Eduardo Verastegui.

“Sound of Freedom”, a film in which Panamanian actor Jaime Newball is credited, is based on true events and deals with the intense and dangerous fight against human trafficking.

“One of the most worrying problems in our world is human traffickingespecially child trafficking. Our future is children. The first step in eradicating this crime is awareness. Go see “The Sound of Freedom”commented Gibson.

The film was released on the 4th of July in the United States and not only did Gibson suggest you don’t miss it, but Tony Robbins, Carlos Ponce and Aleksandar Aša they also did the same.

As for Newball’s participation in the film shot in Colombia, the actor has participated in several Colombian productions like “There is no paradise without breasts” and “Perdida”, and he was also invited for the film Monteverde.

Newball acts as one of the named guerrillas Bam Bam.

“I am very happy to be a part of this film. Not only because of the problem it deals with, which must be condemned, since the statistics of trafficking in children for sexual purposes that happen all over the world are alarming, but also because it is necessary to raise awareness and demand a state policy that ensures and protects the physical, psychological and children’s emotions”, he recounted day after day.

He recalled with great emotion the three weeks in which they filmed Cartagena and Saint MarthaColombia.

– We filmed for several days in a boat that moved against the current, with certain technical complications, but always well done with the artistic and stunt team – said the actor.
