Today only: test-winning soundbar with wireless subwoofer for less than 300 euros

Soundbars are extremely practical: they noticeably amplify the TV sound without taking up much space. But not every soundbar can convince. Especially in the entry-level range, there are many products that are not convincing acoustically. The surround sound in particular often falls by the wayside. Not so with her Teufel Cinemabar 11which was chosen as test winner at Stiftung Warentest.

You get pride in the Teufel Summer Sale 150 euros discount on the Teufel Cinebar 11 “2.1 Set”, which includes the loudspeaker and a wireless subwoofer. This gives you a price of 299.99 euros. In this price range, the Cinebar 11 is unrivaled in terms of sound.

Teufel Cinebar 11: Impressive sound for a low price makes it the test winner

Stiftung Warentest awarded the Cinebar 11, which is always sold in a “2.1 set”, a good mark (2.4). This made it the test winner in the “Soundbars with separate subwoofer” category. The trade magazine Hifi.de was also impressed by the sound quality of the soundbar. In addition to the sound, the various sound modes, the good ease of use and the flexible subwoofer were also praised.

The Teufel Cinebar 11 is top equipped: The internal Dynamore technology creates a virtual surround sound that can be seen or heard. There are three different sound modes intended for different situations. Speech mode helps you understand dialogue better, while Night mode lets you enjoy action-packed movies late at night without waking up the whole neighborhood.

What is the Cinebar 11 missing? Unfortunately there is no WLAN and therefore no direct streaming connection. What is not bad at all with movies and series, is more annoying with music streaming. A possibility to listen to music from Spotify, Apple Music and Co. directly via the soundbar. to listen would have been desirable. 3D sound in the form of Dolby Atmos and DTS: X is also missing, but that is well compensated by the aforementioned Dynamore technology.

Sonos Beam as an alternative to the Teufel Cinebar 11

The Sonos Beam has WiFi with Apple Airplay 2, voice control via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant and virtual Dolby Atmos, which provides impressive surround sound.

The Sonos Beam comes without an external subwoofer and is more compact than the Cinebar 11. So you save space, but have less thump in the home cinema. You can stream your favorite music from the comfort of your couch – or even throughout the house, because the Sonos soundbar is easy to integrate into a multi-room setup. However, the whole costs a little more than the Cinebar 11 from Teufel.
