Angelina Jolie’s Private Email to Ex Brad Pitt Resurfaced

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt haven’t been able to make peace with each other since their breakup. Instead, their mudslinging is fought in court and in the public eye. Several court documents have already appeared, most recently serious allegations of the actress against her ex were reported.

Now intimate details are leaking out again, this time in the form of an email. According to “Entertainment Tonight”, Jolie would have sent this to the “Fight Club” star in January 2021. The message first appeared on the video platform TikTok and the medium then found it in the court documents.

Jolie writes that she wants to sell the joint Miraval winery in France. “This is where we took the twins and got married at a plaque for my mother,” Jolie wrote, referring to her youngest children, Knox and Vivienne. “A place that held the promise of what could be and where I thought I would grow old. Even now it is impossible to write this without crying. I will cherish my memories of what it was a decade ago,” are her emotional words.

But so many fond memories she apparently associates with the place makes it seem just as painful for the movie heroine: “It’s also the place that marks the beginning of the end of our family — and a business that revolves around alcohol.” She likely alludes to Pitt’s alcohol abuse, and also says that the alcohol “damaged her family so much”.

She also talks about an incident on her private jet six years ago, in which Pitt is said to have become violent towards her and her children. «I wish you all the best in your business and I sincerely hope that the children will think differently about Miraval when they are older and visit you there. But Miraval died for me in September 2016, and unfortunately everything I’ve seen over the years has confirmed that for me.”

She could no longer be part of an alcohol business, would also support Pitt in the decision to sell the winery. “Anyway, I believe we need to move forward to heal and focus on the areas where our family comes together and where we have positive connections.”
