The “Tron” sequel “Tron: Legacy” is now 13 years old. And while there have been repeated plans for another sequel to the cult 1982 film, no real progress has been made, even after 2017 Oscar winner Jared Leto was announced as the lead. But for a few weeks now, the sci-fi project is finally getting going again – and for real! Tron 3, now officially titled Tron: Ares, will now begin shooting sometime in July or August – and in preparation for that, the promising cast just keeps growing.
