No?! But! Oh. Of course, this world famous quote from Louis De Funés is primarily associated with French cult mime – and yet it also applies to “Tron 3”, which should really come back and forth after years. The movie is starting to take shape, now with another casting announcement: Eve Peters joins the party in Tron: Ares!
Such as trade journals such as And unanimously reporting, the Emmy Award winner will appear alongside long-confirmed lead actor Jared Leto for the third “Tron” movie that many fans are eagerly awaiting. The two are the only known actors in Ares.
The director is Norwegian Joachim Rønning, who made a name for himself in 2012 with his Oscar-nominated adventure film “Kon-Tiki” and since then for the TV series “Marco Polo”, the fifth film “Pirates of the Caribbean” (as co-director ) and “Maleficent: Forces of Darkness” took the director’s chair.
This is Evan Peters
Evan Peters began his acting career in the 2000s, appearing in supporting roles in films such as The Fighters and Kick-Ass. There were also numerous guest appearances in isolated episodes of TV series such as “Monk”, “Dr. House”, “Ghost Whisperer” or “Criminal Minds”.
His breakthrough came in 2011 with American Horror Story. To this day, he is considered one of the main cast members of the anthology series, slipping into new roles season after season. Of course, Marvel fans know him best as Peter Maximoff aka Quicksilverwhom he imitated in “X-Men: Days of Future Past” and “WandaVision”.
Most recently, however, he made a name for himself with his starring role in the true crime mega hit “Dahmer – Monster: The Story of Jeffrey Dahmer” on Netflix, for which he even received a Golden Globe. At least since those successes, the 36-year-old has become one of the biggest stars of his generation, having also won an Emmy (for his performance in the miniseries “Mare Of Easttown”).
The role of Evan Peters in Tron: Ares has not been revealed. However, the script is about a soldier in the computer world and a weird gamer in the human world.
“Tron: Ares”: What can we expect in “Tron 3”?
A third “Tron” has been discussed for years, but now it must finally be implemented – which is still relatively well known so far. After a long time of bringing back the cast of “Tron: Legacy” for a direct sequel directed by “Top Gun: Maverick” creator Joseph Kosinski, things should now be moving in a different direction.
Unlike 1982’s “Tron” and 2010’s “Tron: Legacy”, “Ares” is not meant to play primarily in the computer world. Instead, the story should revolve around a program that can sense and ultimately reach the real world. But humanity doesn’t seem ready for that yet…
It is not yet known when “Tron 3” will hit theaters.
