Agenda for this weekend

As we do every Friday, we bring you a list of some of the cultural and recreational activities taking place in Panama.

For this weekend, music, art and cinema are just some of the activities that you can enjoy these days. There are events for adults and children in the house.

Friday the 23rd

– Until today, you can visit the photo exhibition “Portugal ID. What does Portugal taste like?”, on the occasion of Portugal Day.

Each photo is followed by a rich poetic speech of free interpretation. Earth, I tasted themwith, ingredients, euphoria, passion, love, moments. Nothing would be possible without the poetry that each person writes. A feeling that makes Portugal embrace the world. Location: Juan Manuel Cedeño Gallery, Casco Antiguo, Panama City.

– French Federation of Panama (@alianzafrancesadepanama) prompts you to close Music festival at the concert of the Titouan project (France) with the national bands Skanama and Trío Bayano. It will be held in Andrés Bello Park starting at 17:00. It is free.

– University cinema (@cineuniversitarioup) presents “Intermediaries” (South Korea, 2022) Hirokazu Koreede. A drama about boxes that are anonymously given away to unwanted children. is free. Appointments at 3:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m

– “Mentiras El Musical” comes with Mexican hits from the 80s under the direction @aaronzebede and with performances by Janelle Davidson (@janelledavidson), Any Tovar (@anytovar), Cristina de la Fuente (@cristinadlfuenyou), Bethy Garcia (@bethygarcia) and Leo Almengor (@leoalmengor). It is presented at the National Theatre.

Saturday the 24th

Subway route (@larutadelmetro) invites you on a guided tour to discover Caledonia’s photographic spaces, capture unique landscapes, and learn more about the historical details surrounding the 24th Street Market. Departure from Lotería metro station. It is free and starts at 9:00 am

– You can visit the exhibition “Sabbi Garda”, a collective of painters of Guna origin, who invite you to get to know their culture through their art, Govinda’s Art Shop (@govindasart). It will be open until July 15.

The guided tour “Darién Forests and Biodiversity Park”, will be able to see the new temporary exhibition and explore the park. The tour will be at 4:00 p.m., at Biomuseum. For more details, visit the Biomuseo website.
