So if you’re looking for cheap 4K TVs and soundbars, the current promotion at MediaMarkt and Saturn could be a good opportunity to upgrade.
The best OLED TVs at MediaMarkt
An OLED TV with an excellent price-performance ratio is the answer LG OLED C2 with 55 inches (139 centimeters)*, which delivers a very bright image thanks to the OLED Evo display and scores with brilliant colors and strong contrasts in HDR mode. Add to that one of the best smart TV menus on the market and game smoothly with the 120 Hz screen and four HDMI 2.1 inputs.
For fans of the Ambilight feature, it’s worth checking out Philips OLED837 with 55 inches*. Although this OLED TV does not reach the brightness values of the LG OLED C2, it does support the two dynamic HDR formats HDR10 + and Dolby Vision. LG’s competition only plays Dolby Vision content at the highest quality.
The current promotion at MediaMarkt and Saturn could also be a good opportunity to get your hands on a brand new 4K TV. The 55-inch LG OLED C3* is such an option, especially since there is a cashback of 150 euros with the purchase. LG’s OLED TV offers even better picture quality and peak brightness than the C2.
The latter in particular distinguishes the two models. So if you like to watch movies and series in daylight, the C3 can be a good alternative.
These soundbars are worthwhile at MediaMarkt
Soundbars can also be worthwhile as part of the campaign at MediaMarkt and Saturnus. If you don’t want to compromise when it comes to quality, you need the Samsung HW-Q995GC/ZG* take a good look. Samsung’s top-class soundbar does have its price, as the Magazine Hifi.de but recently took first place in the list of the best soundbars.
Incidentally, it has replaced its own predecessor model. Especially the price-performance ratio is good here. You get a great 3D sound including rear speaker and subwoofer. Integration in your smart home is also possible. However, you have to accept a somewhat loveless choice of materials.
A cheaper alternative is the JBL Bar 800*, which promises powerful, true surround sound with Dolby Atmos without cable clutter. The rear speakers are also integrated here and can be placed anywhere wirelessly thanks to the battery. The small speakers are attached to the soundbar and are easy to remove.

That’s why 19% is really only 16%
An important note about the campaign: MediaMarkt and Saturn will give you the VAT. But you don’t get a 19 percent discount, but ‘only’ about 16 percent. There are mathematical reasons for this. If the discount on the gross price were 19 percent, the net price would be lower than without VAT.
Here’s an example: A soundbar costs 100 euros net. With 19 percent VAT, the gross price is 119 euros. A discount of 19 percent from 119 euros yields 25.61 euros. After deduction of the discount (19 percent), the net price of the soundbar is 96.39 euros, which is 3.71 euros less than the original net price.
