The restaurant, which relies heavily on local ingredients, was named “World’s Best Restaurant 2023” at the awards ceremony held in Valencia, Spain, on Tuesday evening. Thus, it replaced “Sardinia”, which was at the top last year in Copenhagen – in 2022 “Center” was still in second place.

This year, “Disfrutar” in Barcelona won the second place and “Diverxo” in Madrid won the third place. The “Schloss Schauenstein” restaurant is also among the best in the world, and Swiss star chef Andreas Caminada has once again entered the “World’s 50 Best Restaurants” list.

Italy and France were successful in Europe, with five restaurants in Italy and four in France breaking into the top 50. In the UK, London took an impressive three-place finish.
