Many people love cherries in the summer, but losing a cherry is easy. This can leave a dark stain on clothes. And cherries in particular leave particularly stubborn stains.

How to remove cherry stain?

Basically, you should act as quickly as possible before the stains dry. It is best to put the garment in a bowl of cold water as soon as possible. Usually it is enough for the spots to disappear again. If not, you can remove them with javelin water. This is bleach. Use this method only for white laundry.

Cherry stains on colored laundry

For colored clothes, first sprinkle lemon juice on the fresh stain. This acts as a natural bleach and by the way also works on cherry stained teeth and lips.

Many also swear on milk. Soak the garment in soapy water first and then soak it in milk. On particularly strong and dried stains, boil the garment in milk. Then wash with lukewarm water and the stain will disappear.

Shaving foam helps with carpet stains. Quickly put some foam on the stain and let it sit for 15 minutes. Then wash the stains with plenty of mineral water and dry with a cloth.

If the cherry stains have already dried, you can try mineral water and salt. Soften the stains with a little mineral water, then pour plenty of salt over these areas. If traces of salt have formed on the carpet as a result, you can brush them off and vacuum the areas.
