Gloria Estefan inducted into the Hall of Fame

Singer Gloria Estefan last night became the first Latina woman to be inducted into the United States Songwriters Hall of Fame, at an event in New York where she said music was her refuge when her family left Cuba to start a new life in another country and a new language. .
