Tenoch Huerta was charged with an alleged sexual assault

Tenoch Huerta, the actor who gained worldwide fame last year with the role of “Namora” in “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”, is embroiled in controversy, accused of an alleged sexual assault.

María Elena Ríos, a saxophonist and activist against violence against women, singled out the actor as a “social predator” on social media and assured that the Poder Prieto collective was responsible for covering up the alleged attacks.

Ríos participated in the episode podcast “Facebook from Malinche”project for which he did not receive the appropriate payment and that the group that makes it visible discrimination which dark-skinned people suffered in film industry distribute without your consent.

After Ríos’ statements, she became the target of violent comments and threats, however, she also received support from some users with the hashtag “#YoSíTeCreo”.

So far, neither Huerta nor his representative have commented on Ríos’ accusations.
