Still, many people who use online banking have their bills physically on their desks. QR codes are scanned, reference numbers are entered, payment dates and amounts are entered. Or to put it another way: digital simplicity meets retro bustle. Fortunately, there is already a way to make life easier.

The quick and easy way to pay an invoice is called eInvoice. And 2.7 million Swiss already use it. Thanks to eInvoice, all invoices can be called and paid directly in your own online banking. Paying the amounts is a matter of a few clicks. If you want to review the invoice at your leisure, it is fully available in the system and can be downloaded as a PDF. Automatic archiving is also integrated.
