Golden Globes, exploitation rights have been sold

Producers Dick Clark Prods. (DCP) and Eldridge Industries announced today that they have purchased the rights to use the Golden Globes, the film awards that have a long history of controversy, from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) in 2021.

The transfer, which implies that the awards now pass into the hands of a for-profit entity, will mean the dissolution of the institution that founded these awards in 1943.
