The Prince testifies before the Court on the second day

The Duke of Sussex appeared before the High Court in London this Wednesday, for the second day in a row, where he will continue to testify in the illegal wiretapping case facing the Mirror Group News (MGN).

Prince Enriquewho arrived at the court around 9:00 GMT, he sued, along with others prosecutoragainst the owner of front pages such as the “Daily Mirror”, “Sunday Mirror” and “Sunday People”, which it accuses of allegedly illegally gathering information – by wiretapping and hiring private detectives – to obtain exclusives.

According to the lawsuit, about 140 articles published by the MGN newspaper between 1996 and 2010 contained information illegally accessed by journalists, although 33 were taken into account in this discussion.

Enrique, 38 years old and currently living in NOW with his wife Meghan and their two young children, yesterday in that court lashed out at the national tabloid press and accused the journalists of being the “mothers of internet trolls” and of causing “pain, disgust and death” with their “perverse” practices.

The prince also regretted that both he and his wife american meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, has faced “constant harassment” and insults from the tabloids for the past six years.

Enrique is expected to continue to respond this morning Issues raised by attorney Andrew Greenwhich represents MGN, which “denies” or “does not accept” the allegations about the mentioned publications.

The prince already appeared before the same court last March for a hearing preliminary in relation to a separate indictment against Associated Newspapers Limited (ANL), owner of the Daily Mail and the Mail On Sunday.

He also took legal action against News Group Newspapersowners of “The Sun” and the now defunct “News Of The World”.
