La Salle lifts its fourth interclub title

swimming club LaSalle 2000 showed its quality in the waters of the Olympic pool in David and won top honors at the state interclub tournament that took place last weekend in Chiriqui.

The team from the capital managed to add more than 1000 accumulated points, reach their fourth cup without defeat.

At least 600 athletes from 7 international clubs and 20 national clubs participated in the fair, making the sports festival an unforgettable experience.

Teams from Costa Rica and Guatemala.

“This cup meant not only physical but also mental effort, since there were long hours from which the best athletes come Panama, Costa Rica and Guatemala gave their all for their teams, the space that was provided to strengthen the ties between the clubs and where we reached the fourth cup that we dreamed of, worked for and achieved”, specified the president Swimming Club La Salle 2000, Armando Solís.

Through the efforts of all its athletes combined with the work of the professional staff Moises Gainza, Lorena Harper and Anthony Castrothe support of their relatives and despite difficulties such as the weather that made this competition a challenge of long hours, the work of so many months of preparation was reflected in the results, Solís added.

Other clubs that stood out are Beldagans Plus who came in second place with 779 points, who was in close competition with Blue Dolphin Swimming Club who took third place with 735 points.’

Points were earned by Beldagans Plus in second place.

They organized this very important event Panamanian Swimming Federation, Provincial Swimming League of Chiriquí and Panamanian Swimming League and it also served athletes to find time for Games of Central America and the Caribbean which will be held in El Salvador.
