Panama defeated the Dominican Republic at the Under-12 World Cup

Easily defeated by Panama this Sunday Dominican Republic14-3, in a regular-round game of the U12 World Baseball Championship played in Aguascalientes, Mexico.

A strong attack, in which 11 unstoppable players stood out, three of which were home runs, was enough for the ninth channel.

José Corrales, the pitching coach, reminded that Palacios is the number one pitcher and also emphasized that he has great power.

He added that Palacios had great control and showed an impressive fastball. He noted that he will continue in the same pattern and make adjustments against teams with what it takes to win.

“We have six starters. We have a pattern of three starters and the rest are long players. We’re going to go game by game and look for that win,” Corrales said.

Palacios, who also shone in attack, explained that he felt good about his key performance in taking Panama to the World Cup.

Algis Palacios stood out for Panama 3-2 with 2 goals scored, Javier Acevedo’s 3-3 triple-double includes a home run, Matthew Flores is 3-for-3 with 4 RBIs and a long homer to right field, and Yunieski Sánchez is 3-for-2 with a homer and three RBIs.
