Etesa is advancing the electricity transmission project in Burunga

The Electric Transmission Company, SA (Etesa) granted a public deed, through which it will proceed with the procurement, installation, commissioning and construction works for the electricity transmission substation in Burunga, Arraiján District, West Panama Province.

A project representing an investment of $12,315,918.96was officially awarded on March 14, it represents a work of the greatest importance, since it directly affects the high demand sector in the province of Panama Oeste.

New Burunga GIS substation 230KV It is also part of the Expansion Plan that Etesa is implementing in this sector of the country, with which it will be possible to reliably supply the growing demand for electricity in the eastern area of ​​this province.

The work consists of the installation of two Terminal Anchor Towers (TXAT) which will serve, once the assembly and construction work is done, to provide a reliable energy supply, not only for the Burunga sector, but also for other areas of Panama West.

Once approved by Chief Controller of the Republicappropriate works will be carried out to ensure a reliable and first-class energy supply to the growing and prosperous province of Panama Oeste.

Etesa reiterates its commitment to the transmission of electricity and management of the transmission network with high standards of quality and efficiency in a safe and timely manner throughout the country.
