More than 5,000 opponents are examined in Silleda to decide on a permanent job at the post office

More than 5000 people are tested this Sunday at the fairgrounds silleda (Pontevedra) for access 7,757 permanent jobs in post. To 431 places, in Galicia.

All in all, more than 84,000 people across Spain are allowed to take the Correos testswhich will take place this Sunday, May 7, simultaneously in 44 cities in 28 provinces and in the autonomous cities of Ceuta and Melilla.

Almost 5,100 candidates in Galicia compete for 7,757 jobs across Spain. For 431 positions in the Galician community, 4,401 people distributed throughout the national territory apply.

These are the entrance tests at Correos to cover 7757 permanent positions in operational categories throughout Spain, to perform the functions delivery of parcels, logistics and customer service in offices.

This macro call for employment, the largest offer of postal services in decadesis part of the replacement rates approved for the years 2020 and 2021 in Law 20/2021 on the reduction of temporary employment in public employment and in RDL 32/2021 on urgent measures for labor reform.

Almost 3,000 Correos employees will work throughout the day to guarantee the smooth running of the selection process, which, due to its size in terms of the number of participants and locations, implies a great logistical and organizational effort.

Programming

For the positions of distribution and classification clerks, an invitation to test at 8:45 a.m.; at 09:30 the entrances to the faculties and exam rooms were closed, and at 10:00 the exams began.

For customer service positions in offices, the trial call will be held at 1:15 p.m.; access to test sites will be closed at 14:00 and testing will begin at 14:30 (one hour earlier in the Canary Islands, in all phases, for both tests).

The tests, of an eliminatory nature, will deal with questions related to Correos products, services and work processes.

The selection process will be completed by a subsequent merit phase where experience, driving licenses (if applicable), languages ​​and training required to perform the job properly will be assessed.
