Panamanian cyclists will have action in Argentina

Panama team of Panama is culture and values will have action in Argentina in the first edition Catamarca Tour, which will last between May 4 and 7 this year, 2023.

This international event of the UCI 2.2 category will consist of 540.3 kilometers divided into four stages; forming a squad of 23 teams from ten countries, among which will be the team of Panama with a continental license for this competition.

The drivers we will have on the Argentine pavement will be Sub-23 Roberto Herrera, as well as the elite that is Randish Abdul Lorenzo, Alex Strah, Franklin Archibold, Bolívar Espinoza and Christofer Jurado, which come from the competition in the recent Central American and Pan American Road Championshipevents held in our country.

The first stage of the competition will be held today at Rodeo wWith a distance of 184.2 kilometers, two mountain prizes and two sprints

The next day will see the second stage between Pomán-Huillapi with a route of 118.3 kilometers, a mountain prize and two sprints

For this Saturday, May 6, the third stage will take place in between Alijilán-Alto de Portezuelo with an extension of 99.8 kilometers, two mountain awards and two sprints

The last stage will be on Sunday May 7 with a closed track in San Fernando del Valle 138 kilometers three sprints.

Currently in the ranking of continental teams there is at Panama is culture and values in sixth place with 306 points won, a row led by the Medellín-EPM team from Colombia with 709 points.
